Trocellen Isolmass®, lead-free: it is not the usual insulation!

Isolmass® by Trocellen is a multilayer product with heavy layer coupled with flexible, resilient, and sound-absorbing materials. Trocellen has developed the Isolmass® range with heavy mass, aware of the fact that lead is not always well accepted by installers and designers:

Isolmass advantages® over lead:

• Does not show problems of toxicity by inhalation and ingestion.

• It is easily coupled to Trocellen cross-linked polyethylene foam, resulting in a product that can be recyclable.

• High levels of reaction to fire obtained with the insertion of flame-retardant additives for some products in the range.

Isolmass® types available:

ISOLMASS 11

Composition:

- Layer of polyethylene foam (anti-vibration), 3 mm thick;

- Heavy layer weighing 4 kg/m²;

- Layer of open cell polyurethane (sound absorption), 12 mm thick.

Applications:

Sound insulation of waste water pipes in polyethylene or PVC.

 

ISOLMASS 22

Composition:

- Layer of polyethylene foam (anti-vibration), 3 mm thick;

- Heavy layer weighing 4 kg/m²;

- Layer of polyethylene foam (anti-vibration), 3 mm thick.

Applications:

Civil construction walls, flooring and technical equipment.

The product is used to reduce low-frequency sound waves, adding mass to the partition.

ISOLMASS 1 TECH

Composition:

- Layer of polyester fiber (PET), 10 mm thick;

- Heavy layer weighing 4 kg/m²;

- Layer of polyester fiber (PET), 20 mm thick.

Applications:

Sound insulation of civil construction walls, air-ducting, metal panels, drywall partitions.

 

ISOLMASS 3 TECH FR

Composition:

- (Optional) ALUNET®: reinforced aluminum foil;

- Heavy layer weighing 3 kg/m²;

- Layer of polyester fiber (PET), 12 mm thick.

Applications:

Sound insulation of drain pipes

ISOLMASS 4 TECH

Composition:

- Layer of polyester fiber (PET), 20 mm thick;

- Heavy layer weighing 4 kg/m².

Applications:

Walls of civil constructions, ventilation channels, metal panels, plasterboard walls.

ISOLMASS 4

Composition:

- Heavy mass of grammage 4 kg/m².

Applications:

Sound insulation of civil construction walls, air-ducting, metal panels,

drywall partitions.

It can provide high vibration damping performance.
