TROCELLEN CLASS TRAIN
CLASS TRAIN is the line of products certified for use in railways.
Made of closed-cell expanded cross-linked polyethylene, they are laminated on one side with aluminum foil. The product is available in adhesive-coated rolls in thicknesses from 3 to 40 mm.
TROCELLEN CLASS TRAIN is certified R1 HL3, in accordance with EN 45545-2 "Railway applications - Fire protection for railway rolling stock.
The EN 45545 series of standards indicate the requirements for materials and components to be installed inside the railway vehicle so that fire protection of passengers and staff, in the event of a fire on board, is guaranteed.
R1 is the specific requirement for insulation materials and refers to:
- Interior vertical surfaces (walls, partitions, doors, windows, insulation materials, interior kitchen surfaces...)
- Horizontal interior surfaces facing downward (suspended ceilings, insulation materials...)
- Interior surfaces with cavities (horizontal and vertical)
- Exterior surfaces of enclosures containing technical equipment (inside the shell)
- Luggage storage areas
- Driver's station (panelling and surfaces of the driver's station)
- Interior surfaces of gangways (interior side/side of gangway)
- Window frames (including sealants and gaskets)
- Curtains and sunshades in passenger/staff areas/compartments
- Downward-facing surfaces of folding tables/tables
- Baskets and ashtrays
- Ventilation channels - interior surfaces
- Ventilation channels - Exterior surfaces
- Passenger information devices (information displays in passenger areas)
- Lower surfaces of bunks and sleeping berths
TROCELLEN NAVYCELL
Navycell® is a blue-colored insulation product composed of chemically cross-linked, closed-cell polyethylene foam, laminated on one side with a smooth aluminum foil 20 µm thick and on the other side with a self-adhesive film.
Expressly designed and developed for environments that require special safety measures, such as naval facilities, Navycell® meets all the requirements set forth in the latest European Directive on Marine Equipment "Council Directive 2014/90/EU" and Regulation 2018/773.
For this reason, the material is accompanied by certificate 0987/ MED-B/836 and is marked with the "wheelmark" which guarantees the quality and safety of the product in two ways:
- The material is certified according to regulations on reaction to fire (Module B - EC Type Examination).
- The production quality is checked and approved by an external IMO laboratory (Module D - Production Quality Assurance).
