Trocellen Class G-PRO: Trocellen's new home for HVAC insulation


Good design of air conditioning systems starts with the selection of the insulation materials to be used: Trocellen Class G-PRO guarantees excellent performance and high environmental comfort

DUCT is Trocellen's range of products for thermal and acoustic insulation of ventilation ducts and HVAC systems.

The success of the Trocellen Class product range and the continuous need to evolve in the HVAC insulation market led to the development of a new product range with an innovative and revolutionary character, called TROCELLEN CLASS G-PRO.

Trocellen Class G-PRO continues the great success of the Class collection with a renewed recipe to achieve even more outstanding performance in terms of thermal conductivity while maintaining the durability, fire safety and other technical characteristics already inherent to Trocellen Class.

Furthermore, the combination of Trocellen Class foam and the patented G-PRO expandable graphite technology generated the outstanding result of the B-s1,d0 (EN 14313) classification up to thicknesses of 40mm.

This product range is also CE-marked, further proof of its maintained quality.

 

HVAC insulation with TROCELLEN CLASS G-PRO: materials and characteristics

 

Closed-cell, chemically cross-linked polyethylene, density 28 kg/m3, grey, adhesive, with improved thermal conductivity, finished on the outside with an expandable graphite layer of patented G-PRO technology.

Technical characteristics:

  • CE marked (CPR), according to European Standard (PEF) EN 14313;
  • Euroclass B-s1,d0 - BL-s1,d0 for thicknesses 3-40 mm;
  • Coefficient of thermal conductivity at 10 °C (?D) = 0.0379 W/mK;
  • Water vapour diffusion resistance coefficient (µ) > 12.500.

The installer who has to insulate an air-conditioning system must, during the design phase of the system, introduce a number of specific solutions with reliable features to ensure a comfortable environment and, at the same time, guarantee the physical and psychological well-being of his customer.
