To manage the request of a young couple, Architect Angelo Bruno form ABBW was commissioned to refurbish Apartment SLR located on a 1970s building in Apulia, Italy.

The first mission was to take advantage of the amazing view towards the Itria Valley and to reorganize the internal layout accordingly. The whole project was totally custom-made and fully adapted to the client’s needs.

The furnishings were chosen with attention to detail and following a very modern style. Colours are mainly neutral and the occasional touch of colour is made by different decorative elements.

As doors define the guidelines of the project, the architect decided to distinguish the different door types inside the project. Sometimes making them stand out and in other cases hiding the openings within the space.

That’s why for this project the Ermetika Absolute Swing frameless door has been used in the living room to conceal the utility room that is located behind the TV wall. The purpose was to create an opening that would not weigh down the room and would keep it as uniform as possible. The high customization of Ermetika’s frameless doors make them very versatile in these situations, allowing to make every necessary opening as discreet as possible.
