Gabriele and Oscar Buratti for Caleido.
The collaboration with architects Gabriele and Oscar Buratti of the Buratti Architetti studio marks a further phase of growth for Caleido, the result of the combined work of research and experimentation on functionality and aesthetics, capable of transforming the shared vision of the company and the designers into reality.
As the architects state: 'Due to its size and relative physical presence in the interior environment, the
radiator remains one of the fundamental elements of the space and its décor. There are many attempts to hide it, integrating it into the walls, and others to enhance it as a tendentially 'artistic' presence. With this new collaboration with Caleido, our thinking was to think of the radiator as a detail of design and character, an object to be made to dialogue with wings, openings and light, matter and colour."

Gabriele and Oscar Buratti started from the concept of light as the very matter of architectural design when it meets a surface, managing to generate reflections, shadows and unexpected patterns.
The end result is a new concept of radiator, with a three-dimensional texture that can react with light, in particular with its direction of arrival, which changes naturally during the course of the day. The two textures, 1000 rows and 100 rows, interpret the technique of excavating the flat surface to form concave vertical grooves: the first has a very dense and repetitive pitch, while the second softens and traces a lighter and more airy rhythm.
Available in different sizes, both vertical and horizontal, they can be used either individually or mixed together, with alternating rhythms, to compose elegant and refined radiant panels, thus creating a new type of radiator with a strong personality.
