The system consists of a cork-based plaster, eco-friendly, sound-absorbing, and breathable, with excellent sound absorption capabilities called Diathonite Acoustix⁺. It is a mortar formulated with cork, clay, natural hydraulic lime NHL 5, diatomaceous powders, and hydraulic lime. The plaster eliminates reverberation and reduces reflected noise. The product has high breathability, good thermal insulation characteristics, dehumidifying capabilities, and excellent fire resistance. If a smooth appearance is desired for interior walls, the application of the Aquabond primer, a ready-to-use adhesion primer, is recommended.

The sound-absorbing plaster is then smoothed out with Argatherm Acoustix, an acoustic finishing skim coat lightened with expanded spherical mineral fillers with a microporous internal structure that gives the product extraordinary lightness, thermal insulation, and sound-absorbing properties, providing a smooth surface. The system is then finished off with Limepaint paint for indoor applications, after priming with D20, a water-based acrylic resin bonding agent.
