GCR Project division: raised floor
GCR Project is the
structure created by Cerdisa Ricchetti Group to concretely respond to the
operational needs of the architect, interior designer, builder, contract, and
all professionals involved in the building design and construction process for
specific ceramic tile applications, finding together the most suitable
solutions for the project.
RAISED FLOORS
Overhead is probably the system of
ceramic tile use most responsive to contemporary "building."
The floor becomes a technological
system that marries the concepts of versatility of spaces and functions, acts
as a "habitat" for different plant systems, while maintaining its own
aesthetic and functional nature.
It is probably one of the
longest-used dry systems in construction, and from the very beginning it has
found application precisely with ceramic products.
Ceramic lends itself to be used
within the system, as the skin of pre-assembled modules or as a self-supporting
element with specific thicknesses.
The different formats of the GCR
collections lend themselves to creating decorative module games, while the wide
range of colors and surfaces allows for the customization of any environment.
The raised floor is classified
according to mechanical strength, load bearing capacity, fire resistance,
seismicity, and electrical behavior.
The choice of panel and surface
finish affects the acoustic behavior of the floor.
The raised floor is an innovative
and versatile solution, suitable for various applications and projects both
indoors and outdoors.
For interior floors, two types of
load-bearing "core" can be used, mineral-based or wood fiber-based,
while for exterior floors, point elements made of plastic material placed in a
modular mesh pattern are used.
