U-BOOT BETON® CONE IS A DISPOSABLE FORMWORK IN RECYCLED POLYPROPYLENE DESIGNED TO CREATE LIGHTEN BIDIRECTIONAL SLABS AND PLATFORMS IN REINFORCED CONCRETE.
The use of U-Boot Beton® Cone formwork allows for the creation of slab slabs without resorting to the use of emerging capitals (the so-called "mushrooms") since the latter can be confined within the thickness of the floor itself.
By submerging the U-Boot Beton® Cone formworks in the concrete casting, a continuous flat slab is formed both above and below (thanks to the conical elevator feet) of the U-Boot Beton® Cone, and of a lattice ribs mutually orthogonal and interconnected, in both directions, to form the resistant sections.
The slabs made in this way allow a considerable saving of concrete and reinforcing steel thanks to the significant decrease in the weight of the floor compared to solid slabs of the same thickness.
U-Boot Beton® Cone is therefore the ideal solution for creating large-span and / or large-capacity slabs: it is particularly suitable for structures that require considerable free space, such as office, commercial and industrial buildings, but also in the field of public, civil and residential buildings. It allows greater irregularity in the distribution of the pillars, not requiring the construction of beams.
U-Boot Beton® Cone is provided with a central cone which facilitates the execution operations.
In fact, it allows:
- a visual check of the completion of the lower slab;
- a better yield of the surface finish of the intrados;
- the reduction of the lifting thrust in the casting phase;
